We are looking for beginner or first experience software engineers with master degree, who may suit either:

  • Software developer for products located at MCC HQ based in Paris.
  • Technical consultant or application software expert located on client site.
  • Capabilities and will to switch over the time from one profile to one other would be appreciated.

 

Technical Consultant

After a successful experience in the software area, you want to apply your technical knowledge in a client environment. We are looking for 'first experience' software developers or technical consultants, who are mastering the following technologies :

  • C++ or Java application development on UNIX
  • Interprocess communication software development based on TCP/IP
  • Background in the financial trading room areas (front office, market data, middle office) would be appreciated.

You are willing to extend your capabilities in the following area :

  • client relationship
  • project management
  • commercial aspects

You are used to face client pressure and are recognised by your colleagues as a “problem solver”. Depending on your capabilities, your responsibilities will cover over the time :

  • Software development, expertise and advising on clients site
  • Software troubleshooting on existing systems
  • Developers team management and animation
  • Commercial relationship with clients
  • Commercial consulting promotion

In all cases, you will keep in mind that you are the ambassador of MCC’s know-how. All communication is to be done in English (speaking and writing). Software developer

Curious about technology, you have a full understanding and a good working practice on, at least, one of the following domain :

  • C++ and Java application development
  • Interprocess communication libraries, including TCP/IP
  • Database programming and management, especially Oracle and Sybase.

You must be familiar with Unix (Solaris/Linux) regarding both administration and programming constraint. Some expertise in the following area, although not required, would be considered as a plus :

  • Middleware software (Tibco Rendezvous, IBM MQSeries, JMS, FIX protocol, SWIFT)
  • JEE and web frameworks.

Integrated into a small development team, your responsibilities will, depending on your capabilities, cover:

  • software design
  • tools selection
  • coding, testing and integration
  • product life cycle

On top of all, we are looking for open minded engineers who are willing to face, fight and solve complex problems and situations for the benefit of our clients.
