Monitoring

Monitoring

Real time communication, flexible mapping engines are key components in the integration process.

However, ensuring a perfect data consistency between systems is a mandatory, although challenging step in the workflow definition.

Monitoring and control processes are completely integrated in the FaSTP workflow.

It intends to track and monitor a movement (trade, static data, market data etc...) throughout its life cycle. A business integration exception (missing data, missing validation etc...) or a technical exception is processed in the FaSTP workflow, and can be displayed in the FaSTP monitoring dash board.

FaSTP provides tools to enable the front-office user to observe, in real-time, the status of trades in the back-office solution. This also allows traders to see repair queue functionality that can be driven from the back-office front end where appropriate (for instance a missing code in the back-office system is fixed, and the deal re-submitted by the back office – at the moment the dealer must re-submit once the correction is made).

At the end of the day, there are reconciliation facilities to ensure the consistency between both databases.
