A set of generic technical services allows the communication with external applications, databases and systems:

• Presentation layer: is based on a mature RIA toolkit yet flexible and widely spread among navigators.

• Business process management : JBPM (JBoss Middleware) is the technology that has been selected by MCC to address all workflow and orchestration issues.

• Security: management of users access control to application services. Security is built on top of JAAS implementation that allows easy integration with LDAP servers.

• Audit/Alert: a tracing tool allowing the audit of the application services use and raising real-time alerts

• Mapping: definition of the data mapping rules used in our applications’ interfaces
